What is HydraFacial?
HydraFacial FAQ’S ↓
HydraFacial is a revolutionary facial that uses the latest technology to give you a peel, microdermabrasion and hydrating mask in just one treatment. Unlike regular facials, a HydraFacial is performed using a specialised device that extracts impurities from deep within your pores, whilst also moisturising and exfoliating your skin!
Your face will be replenished with essential nutrients including hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and peptides. These will help to tone your face, reduce wrinkles and prevent environmental damage.
Hydrafacial is perfect for people who struggle with active acne/blackheads/scarring/congested skin. HydraFacial Acne and Acne Scarring treatment will help improve active acne by reducing the build-up of excess oils and also improve scarring by deeper exfoliation using salicylic acid and glycolic acid peels.
All treatments are carried out by fully qualified and experienced doctors at our skin clinics in Leeds, York & Manchester.

Sponge Analogy- HydraFacial Explained
How does it work?
The HydraFacial uses ‘vortex technology’ that works to suction pore blockages out of your face whilst introducing active serums deep into your skin whilst it is still porous. This means there is no uncomfortable squeezing or peeling as there are with traditional facials or chemical peels; the HydraFacial feels like a light massage!
All of the impurities are collected in a bottle attached to the machine and handpiece, so you can see the results instantly.
What does the HydraFacial treat?
The HydraFacial is capable of reducing the appearance of:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Tired or dull skin
- Uneven skin tone and texture
- Irregular pigmentation and hyperpigmentation
- Oily, congested, blemished skin
- Enlarged pores and spots
Are there any side effects of HydraFacial?
Despite having redness for about an hour post treatment, a HydraFacial procedure doesn’t have any other side effect. It is advisable to refrain from wearing makeup after the treatment because of the softness of the skin but can continue to do your everyday tasks.
